About Archipractica
Archipractica is an independent publication about using AI in architectural practice. We write for architects who bill hours, carry liability and sign drawings — not for people who want to be told that a chatbot will design their next building.
Who writes this
Every article is signed Archipractica Editorial. That is a collective byline, and we want to be straightforward about why: this publication is produced by a small editorial team working with practicing architects who review our drafts and test our workflows on real projects, and who largely prefer not to attach their names to AI commentary while the professional conversation around it is still heated. Rather than invent personas with stock photos and padded résumés — a pattern we dislike in this niche — we publish under one honest collective name.
What we will never do: fabricate an author, buy a review, or publish a number we didn't check. If the day comes that individual authors join with their own names, their pages will carry verifiable credentials or none at all.
What we promise
- Tested, not summarized. Tool verdicts come from running the tool on the same real brief, documented in our methodology.
- Dated. Prices, model names and plan details carry the date we checked them, because this field moves monthly.
- Updated. Every article shows its last-updated date, and the update is real — we re-verify, we don't just bump a timestamp.
- Sourced. Claims link to primary sources: vendor documentation, professional-body surveys, regulations.
- Independent. No sponsored reviews, no affiliate pressure on verdicts, no vendor relationships that touch editorial.
How this site is funded
Right now, it isn't — Archipractica runs on its own budget. If that changes (a paid newsletter tier, clearly-marked affiliate links, or products of our own), the change will be disclosed on this page before it happens. Sponsored reviews will not be part of it under any model.
AI assistance
We use AI tools in producing this publication — it would be strange not to, given the subject. Drafting, structuring and translation assistance are machine-aided; every fact, price, quote and regulation reference is verified by a human editor against the primary source before publishing. Errors that slip through are corrected per the corrections policy.
